How Tool Finder Works

1. Scrape Documentation

We scrape documentation websites for government products (FormSG, Postman, Plumber, etc.), saving both the content and screenshots.

2. Store in Vector Database

Content is converted to embeddings and stored in a vector database. This enables semantic search - for example, searching "collect citizen feedback" will find relevant content about forms and surveys, even if those exact words aren't used.

3. Intelligent Matching

When you describe your workflow, an LLM (Claude) searches the database for relevant documentation, understands your needs, and recommends the right products with step-by-step instructions.
